ABOUT BRITTANY

With 15 years of experience teaching Pilates and 10 years of experience guiding other leaders as the founder of Fine Tune, Brittany is an embodiment of this program’s ethos: evolving alongside her community, staying curious with herself, and remaining loyal to her people and her practice through her anchored integrity and her openness to explore new ideas.

Brittany’s traditional Pilates teachings are informed by contemporary research around other movement modalities, rehab protocols for the spine and major joints, trauma, pelvic floor health, and nervous system, forever thinking about Pilates and biomechanics in an effort to deepen the connection to her own body and discover new ways to communicate movement to others. She has spent the bulk of her career connecting with individuals and working one-on-one to support people and their unique bodies through Pilates and body-positive coaching, meeting folks wherever they’re at with consistency, patience, and integrity.

She is dedicated to remaining inspired by her work through her connection to her community, and walks the talk by bringing this approach into the Fine Tune Mentorship space.

FAQ

When does the program start?
The first session will begin September 30th, 2024, with our first group call happening on October 5th.

What time are the live calls?
Time will be determined based on the preferences of the group.

How long will I have access to the content?
You will have access to the content for the 12 weeks you are a part of the community, and will have the opportunity to renew on a quarterly basis.

How much experience should I have as an instructor?
There is no prerequisite to this program in terms of teaching experience, as we believe there is great benefit to engaging with folks in all levels, varying from your own.

Do I need to be actively teaching to benefit from this?
Nope! This is perfect for anyone who is active in the industry, not yet started in it, or taking a break for any given reason, personal or professional. The only active energy we require is a desire to be learning and evolving, as a practitioner –– whatever that application looks like, for you.

Is this better suited for 1:1 or group instructors?
Everything we explore together will support instructors with either focus (or both!).  If you’ve been teaching group but are curious about 1:1, this is a great place to learn about whether you want to explore it –– or, it could be a bridge to transition you out of 1:1, if they aren’t lighting you up. Our goal is to make this experience support your unique journey.

Do I need classical Pilates training?
Nope! We recommend having a mat training under your belt at minimum, but other than that, there is no education requisite.

Is this just for Pilates instructors, or are other movement teachers welcome?
The mentorship will be supportive to practitioners of any modality, but spoken through a pilates lens, so a mat training will be of benefit to understand the conversations and be able to contribute.
